Assessment “Evaluation” Unit
- Green Kiddie Care (GKC) Assessment unit offers a comprehensive evaluation process for children from birth to age 21.
- GKC introduces a collaborative qualified team to assess the child’s abilities and disabilities in all the rehabilitation sectors (i.e: motor abilities, gross motor functions, sensory integration, oromotor functions, speech rehabilitation, occupational therapy rehabilitation and integration of all body systems to gain functional abilities).
- GKC team knows the importance and validity of parents and caregivers impeding in the rehabilitation process so our team’s concern is to engage the parents and caregivers in the rehabilitation process to know, practice, deal and identify the progress of their child.
Pediatric physical therapy assessment
2d gait analysis and comprehensive neuro-musculoskeletal assessment
The evaluation process includes standardized and non-standardized tests which collect and determine the child`s abilities and reinforce these abilities to reach functional activities.
- 2d gait analysis which is video capturing for the child`s gait from different dimensions and aims to analyze gait motion, gait parameters, and kinematic analysis. The result of this analysis is firstly defining our goals “long, short and mini goals”, secondly customizing the suitable rehabilitation program based on data analysis, lastly evaluating the rate of progression and level of the child`s achievement.
- In addition to prescribing the suitable orthosis that will be need to the child.

Pediatric physical therapy assessment
The evaluation process includes standardized and non-standardized tests which collect and determine the child`s abilities and reinforce these abilities to reach functional activities.
Occupational therapy assessment
the evaluation process occurred through assessing the child by standardized and non-standardized tests to determine the functional activities of daily living, hand function, fine motor activities and instrumental activities of daily living.
Sensory motor integration assessment
children with motor disability have got secondary impairment in their senses like proprioceptive, tactile, visual and vestibular , which are interfering with their abilities to perform motor activities and to integrate their senses with their motion
Oro motor assessment
Gkc team deals with the causes of increasing salivation, feeding problems. Also the team works on fading the usage of GI-tube. The evaluation process depends on determining the child`s abilities use oral cavity muscles and articulation which is coordinated with cervical muscles and upper respiratory system muscles.
Speech assessment
The physician assesses the problems that interfere with the child`s abilities, and answer the question “Is the problem in the receptive language or expressive language or both?”.
Skills Development and Learning Difficulty assessment
A complete evaluation of the child to identify behavioral problems and learning difficulties and redirect him in a correct way to develop the child’s skills.
